Dr. Blau earned his medical degree from the Stony Brook University School of Medicine and subsequently completed pediatric residency at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He also authored two impactful antibiotic stewardship protocols that have since been adopted by all NICUs throughout Northwell Health's Neonatology service line. A dedicated academician, Dr. Blau has published 25 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His commitment to academic medicine is further evidenced by his leadership as President of the New York Perinatal Society from 2019-2023. In recognition of his research accomplishments, Dr. Blau was inducted into the prestigious Society for Pediatric Research in 2021.
